An extension is the ideal way to increase your living space in a way that suits you and your lifestyle.

Borstal Hill

We have many years of experience and can provide guidance to help you with all stages of a project from the design and planning to the completed build.

Mylcrist have built an array of extensions from utility rooms, kitchens and conservatories to complete granny annexes and two storey buildings in a variety of styles.

We can visit your property to discuss your extension
requirements and provide an estimate for the works completely
free of charge including advice on how your ideas can be put into practise.

“It is 3 months since our extension was completed and we are delighted with the design and work throughout – it has transformed our house! and given us a beautiful living space.” Mrs Everatt, Whitstable

We can provide design options and amend them as you see fit. We will then submit them to planning and building control on your behalf.

We provide a detailed program of work and costings for your extension to allow you to understand the process and to have an idea of the time frames, building requirements and payments.

We can undertake all aspects of your build:

When work starts on the foundations, we shall arrange for the Building Control officer to visit, inspect and approve the work as it progresses and at important stages of construction including the substructure, floor and underground drainage which are all major considerations in any extension.
We will then build the outside shell of your extension incorporating the covering and sealing of the roof, guttering and fascias followed by the fitting of doors and windows.

“ …Mylcrist have done an excellent job on the extension…we appreciated the honest advice on building problems and cost implications…did a great job of resolving problems… attention to detail was something we found extremely helpful… couldn’t be happier with the finished product and we’d certainly recommend Mylcrist…”
